Archbishop Khajag highlighted the importance of empowering the youth to become ambassadors of Armenian culture and values, ensuring that the rich traditions are not only preserved but also embraced by future generations.
Then he went on to outline key objectives for ACYOB, explaining that this youth organization of Belgium truly embodies a beautiful vision for cultivating a vibrant and spiritually enriching community among Armenian young adults! By focusing on a Christ-centered mission, ACYOB aims to foster a deeper understanding of faith, culture, and civic responsibility. Its role is indeed vital. By preparing young adults for leadership roles within the community, the organization can help ensure that the values and teachings of the Armenian Church resonate with the next generation. Educating members on the teachings of the Church and the rich history of the Armenian people is essential for preserving the heritage and fostering a sense of identity.
Encouraging creative expression and critical thinking will not only help in spiritual growth but will also empower members to articulate their beliefs and connect with one another. The organization’s focus on building friendships and lasting relationships is key to creating a supportive network where young adults can thrive.
Through well-developed programs, ACYOB can offer platforms for participation, engagement, and exposure to the rich cultural heritage of the Armenian Church. Whether through workshops, cultural events, or community service, members will gain valuable experiences and insights, all while deepening their connection to their faith and community.
This initiative holds immense promise and the potential to inspire a new generation to live out their faith wholeheartedly while embracing their Armenian identity. It’s an exciting journey ahead for ACYOB, and the positive impact it will have on its members and the community will surely be profound!
